Jay 8lue

Jay 8lue gets this new chapter of his career started with a stripped back soulful rap record. It’s fitting that the record is entitled “Who’s Jay8lue?” and features clips from his sold out headline show which took place in December 2017 at Camden assembly.

“Somehow I find my light in the dark, I still pour my pain into the art” – Jay 8lue

Jay8lue (formerly YJ) has been know for his attention to detail when it comes to piecing together flows and lyrics. He gives us more of the same in this new offering, whilst displaying a maturity which one can only believe has come from the various ups and downs he has experience in life and in music. The introduction of additional vocals from fellow ORPHANGANG member Afronaut Zu add the finishing touches to a stellar return.

When speaking to Jay 8lue about this latest single he stated “The song updates the listeners with whats been happening in my life to date, i find music to be therapeutic and it’s a form of release for me. I like to see it as a warm up for what’s to come
